Senior Fullstack Developer (Java & React/Next.js)

About the Role

We are expanding our International Tech Hub in Lisbon and looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer. We value generalizing-specialists—adaptable, curious engineers eager to work across the stack, drive architecture, and mentor team members in a flat, self-managed environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead & Mentor: Guide architectural decisions, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices (TDD/BDD, Pair Programming).
• Build End-to-End: Develop scalable back-end APIs (Java/Spring Boot) and modern front-ends (React/Next.js).
• Drive Quality: Ensure high-standard code, test coverage, and automated CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Experience: +5 years.
• Back-end: Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases (SQL Server or equivalent).
• Front-end: Solid experience with React and Next.js.
• Engineering: Unit/integration testing, GIT, Maven, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Bonus Points: Hibernate/JPA, AWS, Microservices, Hexagonal or Event-Driven architectures.
