Java Lead ( Alti)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and deploy Microservices-based architectures.
• Build event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code with strong coding standards.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work closely with DevOps, QA, and frontend teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide quick resolutions.
• Implement unit testing, integration testing, and best engineering practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Core Java (Java 8/11/17).
• Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Excellent coding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Good understanding of multithreading and concurrency.
• Experience with Oracle/ SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and clean code principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Experience in high-volume transactional systems.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Education

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
