Java Lead

Role: Team Lead (Java)

Qualifications:

• 6 15 years of Java programming experience

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in Java development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.

• Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.

• Experience with front-end technologies like Angular or React is a plus.

• Proficiency in databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins & Git.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic product environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Kafka, JMS, and DLQ strategies.

• Jenkins pipelines, Docker basics, Kubernetes familiarity.

• API Gateways and rate limiting.

• Message schemas and contract testing (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, Pact).

• Feature flags, blue-green or canary deployments.

You will be working with our Product Management Group and Delivery Group in developing Channel Banking Solutions for leading banks across the globe.
