Java Lead

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with 7-8 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture, along with experience integrating applications with external systems and modernizing legacy applications.

Must-Have Skills

• 7-8 years of hands-on experience in software development.

• Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.

• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.

• Good understanding of EJB-based enterprise applications and legacy system architecture.

• Experience with API integrations and third-party systems.

• Strong knowledge of:

• JUnit

• Mockito

• Unit & Integration Testing

• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

• Experience with Git-based version control systems.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing legacy applications and support their modernization into Spring Boot-based services.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices.
• Develop secure and high-performance REST APIs.
• Integrate backend services with external systems, Mainframe applications, and Salesforce platforms.
• Participate in application architecture, design reviews, and technical discussions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Develop and execute unit and integration test cases.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and development best practices.
