Requirements 6+ Years of experience in Java technology B. E/B. Tech in Computers or any relevant Skill Set 6+ years of professional experience using Java J2EE development frameworks 3+ years of experience designing and consuming REST/SOAP web services At least 2 years of proven team leadership experience At least 2+ years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects. Contribute to new architectures and design for multi- tier Java EE- based products in a SOA environment. Job Description Essential Skills: Experienced in Agile software development methodology Experienced in Spring Framework or similar MVC frameworks - Sound knowledge of J2EE and Web Services (Java, XML, JQuery JavaScript, HTML, OOA and OOD Concepts) Strong Web Development experience developing web applications in Java, MVC, jQuery and JPA Frameworks Strong development and support skills in middleware technologies (ESB, JBoss, IIS, WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, etc. ) Demonstrable experience of test- driven development alongside use of automated test frameworks, mocking/stubbing, and Junit Experienced in web application security, authentication methodologies, and SSO technologies Demonstrable experience of implementing Java best practice, especially around reusability, scalability, and performance Strong communication skills Strong analysis, design and development skills Good problem solving skills Experienced working with geographically dispersed teams, that fall across different time zones Ability to work independently on multiple projects; and lead junior and mid- level developers in technology delivery Ability to learn and implement new technologies and processes

Other Skill Set Required: Responsible for technical delivery which includes requirements review, design, implementation, testing support and deployment of the systems Lead others contributing to the success of project(s) Understand Business needs and processes; identify solutions, present and guide project team/sponsors in identifying best solution Participate in Requirements Analysis Lead the application design based on System Requirements and Architecture, prototype if necessary, develop, unit test and deploy applications Communicate status to Project Manager on a regular basis Come up with the design and development schedule working with the project manager Look for process improvement/development automation opportunities working with other areas as needed
