What they need
I’m working with a financial services company looking for a Java Engineer to help develop and improve their core systems.
You’ll build scalable back-end services, take ownership of projects from design through to delivery, and explore how AI can solve practical business problems.
What they’re looking for:
3+ years of commercial development experience, with strong server-side Java skills
Experience working with Linux and databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL
Familiarity with testing, version control, CI/CD and the full development lifecycle
An understanding of AI concepts and strong communication skills when working with technical and business teams
Experience with Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, LLMs or agentic AI systems would be a bonus.
This is a permanent role based in central London. Salary is dependent on experience, alongside a discretionary bonus and benefits package.
