Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop and enhance modern cloud-native applications using Java, React, and Kubernetes-based technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong backend and frontend development skills, experience with distributed systems, and a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and TypeScript.
• Build and support microservices and distributed workflows in cloud-native environments.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, data models, and application performance.
• Develop modern user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and responsive design principles.
• Implement workflow orchestration solutions using Temporal IO or similar platforms.
• Deploy and support applications in Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
• Integrate applications with AWS services including S3, SES, and SNS.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, code quality initiatives, and automation efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications with Java.
• Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot microservices.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, database design, query optimization, indexing, and Flyway migrations.
• Experience building applications with React and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of modern frontend development using Vite, React Router, and API integrations.
• Experience with workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal IO or Cadence.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and containerized applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, and software design principles.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, and code quality tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in highly regulated industries requiring audit trails, compliance controls, or governance requirements.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of Istio Service Mesh.
• Experience with Playwright, Vitest, JUnit, Mockito, SonarQube, or similar testing and quality tools.
• Experience designing highly scalable and resilient cloud-native architectures.
