Java Springboot, Microservices + Kafka

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and enhance Microservices-based architectures for scalable and resilient systems.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations.
• Create reusable frameworks, libraries, and components.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in all development lifecycle activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17 and Core Java concepts.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security.
• Strong experience designing and developing Microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and event streaming.
• Experience building REST APIs and integrating with third-party systems.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Experience with Git-based source control systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
