Java Support Engineer

Role: Java Application Support Engineer

Experience: 5-9 Years

Location: Noida, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Kochi

Required Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in application/support engineering in Java-based enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience supporting microservices-based applications and REST APIs.
• Strong SQL/MySQL knowledge, including data investigation, troubleshooting, and query optimization.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux commands and troubleshooting scripts.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized application environments.
• Experience with application logs and monitoring/APM tools such as Splunk, Instana, Dynatrace, or equivalent.
• Experience in incident, problem, change, and release management.
• Experience performing pre- and post-deployment/application validation.
• Strong experience in RCA and problem management.
• Experience working with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate business issues into technical problems.
• Experience working with JIRA, ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar IT service-management platforms.
• Strong understanding of SLA-based support and priority management.
• Experience creating support documentation, SOPs, knowledge articles, and incident resolution procedures.
• Willingness and flexibility to work in a 24x7 support environment, including rotational shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call support.
• Knowledge of Kafka/RabbitMQ or other messaging technologies.
• Understanding of API/EDI integrations with carriers, third-party logistics providers, or external systems.
• Exposure to AWS/Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with automation, scripting, or small application/configuration enhancements.

Preferred / Domain Skills:

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse management, transportation management, or e-commerce fulfillment.
