Job Overview

As a JavaScript Automation Lead, you will be responsible for end-to-end test automation for web/mobile applications, working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This includes designing, developing, maintaining automation frameworks, and contributing toward overall quality initiatives and CI/CD integration.

Primary Responsibilities

• Own the QA and automation strategy for assigned applications
• Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using JavaScript and Playwright
• Develop robust test automation solutions for web and mobile platforms (using Selenium/Appium)
• Analyze and debug automation failures, providing insights for quality improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies (US team involvement required, including night calls)
• Identify areas of improvement and implement automation enhancements
• Ensure CI/CD integration and maintain automation pipelines
• Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing

Mandatory Skills

• Strong JavaScript programming skills with OOPs concepts
• Experience with JS-based testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai
• Web UI automation using Selenium/Appium
• QA methodologies and structured testing approaches
• Hands-on with Git, Jenkins, bug tracking & test management tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong ownership and accountability, team collaboration
