Location: Bangalore

Rate: 1,400/Hour
Notice Period: Immediate to Short Notice Joiners Preferred

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Jenkins Platform Administrator to manage and support enterprise Jenkins environments, ensuring high availability, reliability, performance, and operational stability in a 24x7 production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Jenkins administration and production support, including library and system updates.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across systems, networks, and applications.
• Support Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent resolutions.
• Monitor systems proactively and respond to alerts and outages.
• Automate operational activities using scripting and relevant tools.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and service delivery standards.
• Maintain SOPs, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation.
• Execute operational tasks based on established runbooks and processes.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate senior technical teams.

Must-Have Skills

5+ years of experience in Jenkins Administration / Production Support
Strong hands-on Jenkins troubleshooting experience
Strong problem-solving and RCA capabilities
Experience handling production incidents and critical issues
Experience supporting enterprise environments
Good understanding of system/application troubleshooting

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Automation/Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or similar tools
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools
• Relevant technical certifications
• Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD environments

Red Flags

No real-world production incident handling experience
Unable to clearly explain troubleshooting and RCA approaches
No hands-on experience with Jenkins/platform administration
