$42-$46 per hour + Paid Travel | ASAP Start | 10/4 Roster

AWX is seeking an experienced Jet Patcher Operator for ongoing road maintenance work across Western Queensland, between Toowoomba and Roma.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with road maintenance or civil construction experience who is happy to work away from home and looking for an ongoing role with temp-to-permanent potential.

About the Role

You will operate a specialised truck-mounted jet patcher to carry out road maintenance, including repairing potholes, road edges and other pavement defects across regional Queensland.

Duties will include:

• Operating a jet patcher truck to complete road repairs.
• Carrying out road maintenance and civil construction activities.
• Completing vehicle pre-start checks and ensuring equipment is maintained.
• Following site safety procedures and traffic management requirements.
• Supporting general road maintenance activities as required.

Skills and Requirements

• Current HR driver's licence - essential.
• Previous jet patcher operating experience highly regarded.
• Experience operating water carts and tippers advantageous.
• Previous civil construction or road maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work away from home on a 10/4 roster.
