Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Jewellery Grader with strong expertise in jewellery grading, quality inspection, manufacturing processes, diamonds, gemstones, metals, and finished jewellery standards.

The candidate will be responsible for evaluating jewellery quality, identifying manufacturing defects, and ensuring finished products meet defined quality and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect and grade finished jewellery as per company quality standards.

Evaluate design, craftsmanship, finishing, setting, symmetry, polish, and overall quality.

Examine diamonds and gemstones for quality, consistency, and proper setting.

Check prongs, bezels, stone alignment, security, and finishing.

Identify defects such as scratches, porosity, casting issues, polishing defects, and setting irregularities.

Verify jewellery weight, dimensions, specifications, and product details.

Conduct in-process and final quality inspections.

Ensure jewellery meets customer and international quality requirements.

Coordinate with Production, CAD, Casting, Polishing, Setting, and Quality teams to resolve issues.

Provide recommendations to correct recurring quality problems.

Maintain accurate grading, inspection, and quality records.

Handle high-value and premium jewellery with appropriate care.

Guide and mentor junior graders on grading and quality standards.

Support improvement of jewellery grading and quality-control procedures.

Required Skills

8–15 years of relevant experience in Jewellery Grading / Jewellery Quality Inspection.

Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes.

Good understanding of diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, and jewellery finishing.

Ability to identify minute defects and quality variations.

Knowledge of jewellery measurements, weights, specifications, and quality parameters.

Strong visual inspection and attention to detail.

Good analytical and decision-making skills.

Ability to handle high-value jewellery responsibly.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Experience in mentoring junior graders will be an advantage.

Qualification

Graduation is not mandatory.

Diploma/qualification in Jewellery, Gemology, or related field preferred.

GIA / IGI / Gemology certification will be an added advantage.

Important Screening Criteria

Relevant Jewellery Grading / Jewellery Quality Inspection experience is mandatory.

Immediate to 15 Days Official Notice Period only.

Candidates will be sourced PAN India, with F2F interviews conducted at an IGI office in India.

Selected candidate will be required to work in Dubai, UAE.
