ABOUT US

Dahlsens Family Group of Companies is a proud, long-standing partner to Australia’s builders, from local trades and serious renovators to large-scale residential and commercial projects. As an Australian family owned and run business, we are committed to supporting the industry and the communities we serve.

We offer a true whole-of-house solution, supporting the build from the ground up - from wall frames and trusses through to doors, hardware, windows, roofing, kitchens, bathrooms, and lifestyle cabinetry. We are here to make building simpler, smarter, and more reliable.

With a legacy dating back to 1877, we continue to evolve, helping builders get the job done right and this is just the beginning.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you someone who takes pride in precision, quality, and getting the job done right? We're looking for a Jig Setter to join our Truss & Frame manufacturing team.

This is a key role within our operation, with responsibility for setting up and maintaining truss jigs to ensure production runs efficiently and accurately. While you'll be our go-to expert in jig setting, you'll also work across all areas of production, supporting the wider team wherever needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Jig Setter, you will play a vital role in ensuring production quality and efficiency by preparing and adjusting jigs to meet manufacturing requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up truss jigs to production specifications
  • Reading and interpreting production drawings and layouts
  • Ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the manufacturing process
  • Troubleshooting and resolving setup issues
  • Assisting with truss and frame production as required
  • Supporting workflow across all areas of the plant
  • Maintaining a safe and organised work environment

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in truss manufacturing, timber production, manufacturing, construction, or a similar environment
  • Has strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
  • Enjoys hands-on work and problem-solving
  • Can read and interpret measurements and production plans
  • Takes ownership of their work and contributes positively to the team
  • Is reliable, safety-focused, and enjoys helping others

WHAT'S ON OFFER?

We're proud of the culture we've built. Our team works hard, supports one another, and enjoys a positive workplace atmosphere.

  • Above Timber Industry Award rates
  • Monday to Friday roster
  • Stable, full-time employment
  • Friendly and supportive team environment
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Take a day off on your Birthday & still get paid for it (subject to eligibility).
  • Free Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your family members.
  • Uniform provided so you can look the part when customer facing.
  • Access to our awesome reward and benefits platform with cashback discounts at over 400 retailers such as Adidas, Woolworths, Coles, Ikea, Woolworths, Myer, Rebel Sports + more!
  • Team member discounts may be available (T&C may apply).

If you're looking for a role where your expertise is valued and where you can make a genuine contribution to the success of the operation, we'd love to hear from you.
