Jira Configuration Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Configure Jira Service Management projects, issue types, request types, and workflows.
• Build and configure the service portal and service request catalog.
• Implement SLA policies, priority rules, queues, and escalation workflows.
• Configure approval workflows for service requests and identity access requests.
• Develop dashboards and operational reporting for service teams.
• Implement automation rules for ticket routing, notifications, and lifecycle management.

Job Requirements :

• 3-7 years of experience in configuring Jira or Jira Service Management.
• Strong experience with workflows, request types, screens, and custom fields.
• Experience with Jira automation rules and operational dashboards.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and service management workflows.
• Experience working with Jira Cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Jira Service Management, Jira automation, and JIRA is desirable.
