Jira Integration Solution Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Solution Analyst to support the Planview Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) programme, with a primary focus on Jira and Planview SPM integration. The role will analyze Jira data structures, define source-to-target mappings, design extraction and integration approaches, and support implementation, testing, and knowledge transfer activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze Jira project structures, workflows, issue hierarchies, custom fields, boards, sprints, and reporting requirements.

• Define Jira-to-Planview SPM data mappings and transformation rules.

• Design integration solutions using Jira REST APIs, Atlassian Analytics/Data Lake, ETL tools, or middleware platforms.

• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and development teams to gather requirements.

• Assess Jira data quality and recommend remediation actions.

• Prepare technical documentation including data dictionaries, integration specifications, and mapping documents.

• Support SIT, UAT, reconciliation testing, defect triage, and issue resolution.

• Provide knowledge transfer and handover documentation to support teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Jira experience, including administration or advanced configuration exposure.

• Strong understanding of Jira issue hierarchy, workflows, custom fields, boards, sprints, and Agile reporting.

• Experience using Jira REST APIs, JQL, webhooks, or other data extraction mechanisms.

• Strong data mapping, transformation, SQL, and data analysis skills.

• Experience integrating Jira with enterprise platforms such as PPM, ERP, BI, reporting, or resource management systems.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Planview SPM or other Planview products.

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar integration tools.

• Exposure to Atlassian Analytics, Data Lake, and Agile reporting.

• Knowledge of project financials, forecasting, and portfolio reportin.
