JIT Coordinator / Turnaround

We are looking for a proactive and well-organized JIT Coordinator to support our Turnaround Project. The role will coordinate the timely availability and movement of materials, equipment, and resources required for project execution while working closely with site, warehouse, logistics, planning, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate JIT activities to ensure materials and equipment are available according to the project schedule.
• Liaise with Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, Procurement, Operations, and Site teams on material requirements.
• Monitor material requirements, deliveries, availability, and movement to work locations.
• Coordinate the timely delivery and staging of materials to support turnaround activities.
• Track outstanding materials and follow up on shortages or delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate records and trackers for material movement and delivery status.
• Coordinate with relevant personnel to ensure materials are properly identified and delivered to the correct work area.
• Highlight potential material or logistics delays that may affect project execution.
• Support material reconciliation and close-out activities.
• Attend project coordination meetings when required.
• Ensure JIT activities comply with site requirements and company HSE procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in JIT coordination, material coordination, logistics, warehouse, or project support.
• Experience in Turnaround, Shutdown, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Maintenance, or Construction projects will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of material tracking and logistics coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in a fast-paced site/project environment.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to work according to the Turnaround/Shutdown schedule, including extended working hours where required.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
