Job Captain

The Encompass Group is partnering with a growing commercial architecture firm in Cleveland, OH, to identify an experienced Job Captain to join their team.

What You’ll Own

As a Job Captain, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day architectural production and coordination of assigned projects. You’ll work closely with the Project Managers and design team to keep projects organized, accurate, and moving forward.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the development and coordination of construction documents from design through completion
• Take ownership of architectural drawing sets and ensure they are accurate, coordinated, and complete
• Manage day-to-day project deliverables and help keep projects on schedule
• Coordinate with Project Managers, architects, consultants, and other project team members
• Review drawings for accuracy, quality, and coordination
• Produce and modify architectural drawings using AutoCAD

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of commercial architecture experience
• Bachelor of Architecture degree
• Strong AutoCAD/CAD skills
• Experience developing construction documents
• Ability to take ownership of projects and work with minimal oversight
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple project priorities and deadlines
