Job Summary

A major Oil & Gas company in Abu Dhabi is looking for experienced Job Performers / Work Permit Receivers (WPRs) to join its team.

The ideal candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant Oil & Gas / Petrochemical experience with good knowledge of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, safe work practices and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and understand work permits and ensure all permit conditions are fulfilled before starting work.
• Take responsibility for the safe execution of assigned work activities.
• Ensure work is carried out strictly within the approved permit scope.
• Conduct Toolbox Talks and communicate job hazards and control measures to the work team.
• Review and comply with JSA/JHA, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Coordinate with Permit Issuers, Area Authorities, HSE personnel and other site teams.
• Ensure required gas testing, isolation/LOTO, PPE, barricading and other safety controls are in place.
• Supervise work activities and ensure compliance with approved safety procedures.
• Immediately stop work and report any unsafe condition or deviation from permit requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe working conditions at the work location.
• Properly suspend, close or hand over permits in accordance with the site PTW procedure.
• Report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near misses and incidents to the concerned supervisor/HSE team.
• Ensure all activities comply with company and project HSE policies and Oil & Gas standards.

Pay: AED2,500.00 per month
