Job Title: Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full set of accounting work for our Hong Kong and BVI companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Full Accounting Services for Hong Kong and BVI Companies:

• Manage the month-end closing, accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) for a few HK and BVI companies which are mainly holding companies with minimal revenue generating activities.
• Handle intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation.
• Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management report to Group Finance on timely manners invoice to Payments Process.
• Manage the invoice processing to payments for the Hong Kong office.

Annual Audit:-

• Prepare audit schedules and assist auditors by answering queries during the audit process.

Tax Computations and Schedules:-

• Coordinate with tax preparers to complete annual tax computations and schedules, reviewing documents before submission to the Inland Revenue Department.

Annual Budget Preparation:-

• Prepare and present the annual budget for the Hong Kong companies, ensuring alignment with financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Solid experience in handling full set of accounts is an advantage

• Familiarity with Hong Kong accounting standards

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Willingness to learn new accounting systems.

• Experience with Epicor is a plus
