Joiner

Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable time served Joiner to join our team.

As a Joiner, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling various wooden structures. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and working with different materials. If you have experience in carpentry and enjoy working with your hands, we encourage you to apply.

Duties:

• Measure, cut, and shape wood pieces according to specifications

• Assemble wooden components using nails, screws, or adhesives

• Install doors, windows, and other fixtures

• Repair or replace damaged wooden structures

• Plumb and level structures to ensure proper alignment

• Work with other tradespeople, such as electricians or masons, to complete projects

• Paint or finish wood surfaces as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Joiner

• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools

• Knowledge of carpentry techniques and woodworking principles

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and precision

• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and well as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour

Experience:

• Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
• Joinery: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
