Duties

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wooden frameworks, fixtures, and fittings with precision using hand tools and power tools
• Perform structural repairs and modifications on existing buildings, including framing, roofing, and masonry work
• Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely for lifting, transporting, and positioning materials
• Apply welding techniques when necessary to join metal components securely
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with tools or structural elements during projects
• Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
• Assist with loading and unloading materials for delivery or project needs, including commercial driving when required

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar carpentry or construction role
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to building systems and structural components
• Skilled in carpentry, roofing, masonry, and general construction practices
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or project specifications accurately
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred but not mandatory
