Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Joiner to join our technical services team. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out joinery and carpentry works, including installation, repair, modification, and maintenance of wooden fixtures and fittings at residential and commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out joinery and carpentry works according to drawings, measurements, and site requirements.
• Install doors, frames, cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, partitions, and other wooden fixtures.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other joinery materials accurately.
• Perform repair and maintenance of existing wooden furniture and fixtures.
• Read and understand basic drawings, dimensions, and work instructions.
• Ensure proper alignment, finishing, and quality of all joinery works.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely and correctly.
• Inspect materials and finished work to ensure they meet required quality standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other site teams to complete work within the required timeframe.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow company safety procedures and site health and safety requirements.
• Report any material shortages, damages, or technical issues to the supervisor.
• Perform other joinery-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Joiner/Carpenter.
• Experience in residential or commercial joinery works preferred.
• Good knowledge of woodworking materials, tools, and installation techniques.
• Ability to read basic drawings and take accurate measurements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and finishing quality.
• Physically fit and willing to work at different project sites in Dubai.
• UAE experience is preferred.
