We are seeking a skilled and motivated Joiner to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for crafting, installing, and repairing structures made from wood, metal, and other materials. Your expertise will contribute to a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial builds. Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install timber frameworks, cabinetry, and other wooden structures with precision using hand tools and power tools
• Perform welding tasks to join metal components securely for structural or decorative purposes
• Use roofing skills to assist in the installation or repair of roof structures as needed
• Conduct heavy lifting safely to move materials and components into position during construction or renovation projects
• Apply masonry techniques when working with brick, stone, or concrete elements in building projects
• Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of materials to various job sites when required
• Follow safety protocols diligently while working with power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment to ensure a safe work environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar carpentry or construction role with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers
• Skilled in operating power tools including drills, sanders, grinders, and saws
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain tools and equipment effectively
• Experience with welding techniques for metalwork applications
• Knowledge of roofing installation and repair processes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during demanding physical tasks
• Valid driving license with experience in commercial driving preferred
• Familiarity with masonry work and basic construction principles is advantageous

Pay: £20.00-£30.00 per hour
