Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Joiner to join our dynamic construction and carpentry team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, installing, repairing, and maintaining various wooden structures and fixtures across commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life while ensuring safety, precision, and quality at every step. Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wooden frameworks, fixtures, and fittings with precision using hand tools and power tools
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of work
• Perform structural repairs or modifications on existing woodwork or frameworks as needed
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other trades to coordinate tasks effectively
• Utilize welding skills when necessary to join metal components or reinforce wooden structures
• Conduct heavy lifting safely to transport materials and components into position during installation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout each project

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar carpentry role with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and measuring devices
• Skilled in operating power tools including drills, sanders, routers, and saws
• Mechanical knowledge related to structural systems, roofing techniques, masonry basics, and welding processes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to health and safety regulations
• Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred for transporting materials between sites
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and construction best practices

Pay: £16.15-£22.00 per hour
