Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Joiner/Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing various wooden structures and fixtures with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality building projects, ensuring safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse residential construction sites, utilizing your carpentry skills to bring designs to life.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools to create custom fixtures and structures.
• Install cabinetry, doors, windows, roofing components, and other wooden elements according to project specifications.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while maintaining proper posture and technique.
• Conduct construction painting, finishing work, and touch-ups to ensure a polished final appearance.
• Collaborate with project managers, electricians, plumbers, masons, and other trades to coordinate tasks effectively.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously during all phases of fabrication and installation to prevent accidents.
• Assist in site preparation, including framing, roofing support, masonry work, and plumbing integration as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in carpentry or joinery within the construction industry.
• Skilled in fabrication and assembly of wooden structures using hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and measuring devices.
• Proficient with power tools including drills, saws (circular saws, jigsaws), sanders, and nail guns.
• Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electrical experience or basic electrical knowledge is a plus for integrated projects.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Experience working on diverse construction sites with multiple trades involved is preferred.

Main requirements for this role would be roof structures, kitchen fitting, flooring, skirting & architraves, internal door fitting.

Pay: £120.00-£150.00 per day
