Joinery & Millwork Installation Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Joinery & Millwork Installation Manager to lead the installation of cabinets and joinery on a high end residential project in Makati. You will run daily installation operations on site and lead a team of around 30 installers, making sure every piece is installed on time and to an exceptional standard. The ideal candidate brings deep fit out experience, a sharp eye for quality, and the confidence to work directly with senior project management stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

Installation Management

·         Manage the implementation of installation arrangements for all cabinets, joinery and millwork on the project.

·         Plan, lead and oversee daily installation operations on site.

·         Lead, supervise and coordinate an onsite team of around 30 installers to meet programmer and quality targets.

·         Provide daily installation status reports to management.

Quality Assurance & Control

·         Implement and enforce QA/QC procedures across all installation works.

·         Ensure all work is carried out to an exceptional standard in line with project specifications.

·         Manage the handling of damaged items, including return to the warehouse where necessary.

Logistics & Documentation

·         Maintain documentation to support the receiving, dispatch and final handover of goods to the client.

·         Coordinate with the warehouse team on deliveries and material flow to site.

Health & Safety

Implement and maintain safety procedures for the safe handling of products and material handling equipment (MHE).

Promote a strong safety culture across the installation team.

Stakeholder Management

·         Liaise with senior management from the project management team (PMT) on progress, issues and handover.

·         Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by the Senior Warehouse & Installation Manager.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

·         Installation progress delivered on schedule against the project programme.

·         Quality of finished works and compliance with QA/QC procedures.

·         Accuracy and timeliness of daily installation status reports.

·         Damage rate and speed of resolution on damaged items.

·         Site safety record across the installation team.

·         Complete and accurate handover documentation.

Qualifications:

·         Minimum 10 years of construction or fit out experience.

·         At least 3 years managing a large installation team (ideally 30 or more people).

·         Complete knowledge of joinery and millwork installation for high end residential projects.

·         Experience troubleshooting cabinet installation issues on site is ideal.

·   Proven experience implementing QA/QC procedures.

·         Confident dealing with senior management from the project management team (PMT).

·         Strong organizational, reporting and documentation skills.

·         Solid understanding of site safety and the safe handling of materials and MHE.
