JOINERY FOREMAN

We are looking for an experienced Joinery Foreman to supervise and coordinate joinery works at the workshop and/or project site. The candidate will be responsible for managing carpenters and joinery workers, ensuring work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily joinery and carpentry activities at the workshop and project site.
• Manage and coordinate carpenters, joinery workers, and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, architectural drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure joinery works are executed according to approved drawings and project requirements.
• Plan daily manpower, materials, tools, and equipment requirements.
• Monitor production and installation progress and ensure work is completed within project schedules.
• Inspect finished joinery works to ensure required quality and workmanship standards are achieved.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, designers, and other trades.
• Supervise installation of doors, wardrobes, kitchens, wall paneling, decorative woodwork, counters, furniture, and other joinery items.
• Identify and resolve site/workshop issues affecting production or installation.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of joinery materials and finished products.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
• Ensure workers follow company safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
• Maintain daily records of manpower, work progress, materials, and site activities.
• Report delays, defects, material shortages, and technical issues to management.
• Coordinate snagging and rectification works and ensure timely completion.
• Train and guide workers to maintain high standards of workmanship.
