JOINERY SITE ENGINEER

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer – Joinery to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising on-site joinery operations, coordinating with project teams, monitoring installation quality, and ensuring that all works are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, and agreed deadlines.

The ideal candidate should have solid technical knowledge of joinery works, strong site management abilities, and experience handling commercial and residential joinery projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily joinery installation and site activities to ensure efficient project execution.
• Read, interpret, and verify AutoCAD drawings, technical drawings, and joinery shop drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to maintain smooth workflow and timely completion.
• Inspect joinery installations to ensure accuracy, workmanship, and compliance with approved specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, material usage, and manpower requirements at site.
• Prepare daily site progress reports and communicate updates, issues, and delays to management.
• Participate in site meetings, project planning, and coordination activities.
• Identify technical and site-related challenges and implement practical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and company quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in joinery, woodworking, or interior fit-out projects.
• Experience in commercial and residential joinery projects.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting AutoCAD drawings, technical drawings, and joinery shop drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of quality control procedures and site safety requirements.
• Valid UAE driving license is required
• Willingness to travel between project sites as required.
