Job Title- Joinery site foreman

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Joinery Site Foreman to supervise and coordinate joinery installation works on construction and interior fit-out projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site teams, coordinating with contractors and other trades, ensuring quality workmanship, and completing installations according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage joinery installation teams on site.
• Coordinate daily joinery activities and allocate tasks to carpenters and installers.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, architectural drawings, and joinery details.
• Ensure all joinery works are installed accurately and according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Check dimensions, levels, alignment, finishes, and overall quality of installed works.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed according to the project schedule.
• Organize delivery, storage, handling, and installation of joinery materials.
• Identify site issues, discrepancies, and potential installation problems and report them promptly.
• Ensure proper coordination between joinery, MEP, civil, ceiling, flooring, and other finishing works.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and rectify defects or incomplete works.
• Supervise snagging and ensure all outstanding joinery works are completed before handover.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure safe working practices are followed on site.
• Monitor manpower productivity and report daily progress to the site/project management team.
• Ensure materials and tools are used efficiently and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with the workshop/factory regarding fabrication, modifications, and material requirements.
• Assist with site measurements and verify dimensions before installation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Joinery Foreman, Site Foreman, Carpenter Foreman, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of joinery installation and interior fit-out works.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings and technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of carpentry, cabinetry, doors, wardrobes, wall paneling, counters, kitchens, and other custom joinery works.
• Experience supervising carpenters and joinery installation teams.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to identify and resolve site installation issues.
• Knowledge of site safety requirements and safe working practices.
• Previous experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, or high-end fit-out projects is an advantage.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
