Journalist

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Journalist to join our editorial team. This is a great opportunity for a fresh graduate or someone with up to 1 year of experience who is keen to build a career in journalism and B2B media.

You will work closely with our editorial team to research, write and develop content across our digital platforms, newsletters, publications and events.

Key responsibilities

• Research and write news stories, interviews, features and industry-related content
• Conduct interviews with business leaders and industry professionals
• Keep up to date with industry trends, news and developments
• Support the editorial team in developing content ideas and story angles
• Attend industry events, conferences and media briefings when required
• Assist with newsletters, digital content and other editorial projects
• Work with the wider marketing, events and commercial teams on relevant content initiatives

About you

• Fresh graduate or minimum 1 year of relevant experience in journalism, media, communications or content
• Diploma or degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, Communications, English or a related field
• Strong written and spoken English
• Curious, proactive and interested in what is happening in the business world
• Comfortable speaking with and interviewing people
• Able to research independently and turn information into clear, engaging stories
• Good attention to detail and able to work with deadlines
• Willing to learn and open to feedback
• Basic understanding of social media and digital content is an advantage
