Journeyman Automotive Tech (Electrical)

Job Duties

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
• Diagnose the source of any malfunctions and perform the repair.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Automotive repair training and experience in electrical and electrical systems.
• Journeyman Red Seal
• Ford experience a must
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must be willing to submit a background check prior to employment.
• Strong aptitude for technical/electrical repairs and problem solving skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• High level of integrity, professional demeanor, and work ethic.
• Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and ability to use power and hand-held equipment.
• Experience working on Ford specific vehicles would be considered an asset
• Work in a team atmosphere

Pay: $42.00-$50.00 per hour
