Journeyman Carpenter (4+ Years Experience)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Carpenter with over four years of experience to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work across residential and commercial projects, ensuring all work meets safety standards and project specifications. Your expertise will help bring construction plans to life, contributing to the creation of durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling and restoration to new builds, utilizing your craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines.
• Perform framing work including metal stud framing, heavy lifting of materials, and assembly of structural components.
• Install doors, windows, drywall, stucco finishes, trim carpentry elements, fixtures, and other interior or exterior features.
• Conduct rebar installation, plastering, caulking, and stucco application as required for various projects.
• Ensure power tool safety protocols are followed at all times while operating hand tools and power tools for woodworking.
• Assist with remodeling projects by performing tasks such as drywall installation, restoration work, door hanging, and general handyman duties.
• Support the construction site team by maintaining a clean work environment and adhering to safety standards related to construction site experience.

Experience

• Minimum of four years of professional construction experience.
• Hands-on experience with woodworking tools, heavy machinery, wood construction materials, and wood working machines.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision in detailed carpentry tasks such as door hanging or trim work.
• Strong understanding of construction plans combined with practical skills in interpreting technical drawings for accurate execution of projects.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
