Journeyman Carpenter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in or around Tallahassee, FL. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $45/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

• Install wood blocking and support systems
• Measure, lay out, and cut materials to specification
• Install and secure insulated roof panels
• Perform accurate angle cuts and material fitting
• Utilize saws and other carpentry tools to complete installations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Requirements:

• Previous carpentry experience
• Must be proficient with layout work and angle cutting
• Experience installing roof panels or similar construction materials preferred
• Ability to safely use saws and standard carpentry tools
• Must be able to pass a federal background check
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to perform physically demanding construction work
