Job Summary
IRON SWORD has two openings for a skilled carpenter to join our contracting team. Candidates must have a minimum five (5) years’ experience in commercial construction, a great work ethic, and work well with others. This is a position with excellent pay potential as work normally involves Federal and NYS prevailing wage scale on public projects.

- Read Drawings/Layout
- Metal Stud Framing
- Drywall Hanging & Finishing
- Acoustical Ceiling Grid & Tile
- Doors, Frames, and Hardware
- Other Commercial Carpentry
Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications
- Journeyman with five or more years of experience in the construction field
- Great work ethic and work well with others
- Must have reliable transportation and may require travel
- Must have current OSHA 10-Hour Training Certificate
- Background checks are required for our government contract work
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced lead carpenter
- Current OSHA 30-Hour Training Certificate
- Other Training Certificates & Safety Training
