Responsibilities

• Reading blueprints, drawings and sketches

• Completing tasks assigned by Site Supervisor

• Good Communication with co-workers and subcontractors

• Conducting work safely

Qualifications / Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

• Knowledge in Finishing, Framing & Concrete Formwork required

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Team work is important with all crew members including Site Supervisor

• Punctuality

Skills/Abilities/Attributes

The ideal candidate will have:

• Journeyman Carpenter Red Seal Ticket

• Knowledge and experience in both civil construction and residential projects

• First Aid Level One, Fall Protection and WHMIS Certificates will be considered an asset.

• Ability to get government security clearances will be considered an asset

• Follows all company policies and standards, including health and safety policies and procedures.

• Must have a valid BC drivers’ license and a driver’s abstract will be requested if hired for the position
