DC Construction Pros, LLC is a licensed General Contractor and Plumbing Contractor serving Tucson and surrounding communities. We specialize in residential and commercial construction, new home builds, additions, renovations, tenant improvements, plumbing, and a wide variety of construction services.

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly skilled Journeyman-Level Construction Tradesman who has hands-on experience in multiple construction trades.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a versatile professional who understands construction from start to finish, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can perform a variety of tasks independently with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded tradesman who can step onto a job site, understand what needs to be accomplished, and get the job done correctly, safely, and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled construction work on residential and commercial projects, including new builds, additions, remodels, and renovations.
• Perform rough and finish carpentry, framing, drywall installation, repairs, and finishing.
• Assist with concrete work, foundations, slabs, forming, and general site preparation.
• Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and modifications within applicable licensing and supervision requirements.
• Complete door and window installations, trim, cabinetry, and finish work.
• Perform painting, stucco repairs, flooring installation, tile work, and general building repairs.
• Assist with roofing, exterior improvements, demolition, and other construction activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Identify construction problems and develop practical solutions in the field.
• Work independently or alongside other tradesmen and subcontractors.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain professional workmanship and meet company quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, subcontractors, and customers.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on construction experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of multiple construction trades.
• Experience in residential and/or commercial construction.
• Proficient in framing, carpentry, drywall, and general construction practices.
• Plumbing, concrete, masonry, stucco, tile, roofing, or finish carpentry experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints, take accurate measurements, and work from construction plans.
• Capable of completing assigned work independently without constant supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of construction methods, job-site safety, and building codes.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for positions requiring driving.
• Must be dependable, punctual, hardworking, and professional.
• Must be comfortable performing physically demanding construction work.
• Ability to work effectively with others and adapt to changing project requirements.
