Role Summary

PTW is seeking local Journeyman Electrical to join our team in Whitecourt, AB. This role involves construction and maintenance electrical work on industrial projects in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, dependable, and experienced working independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Perform construction and maintenance electrical work on industrial projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and electrical codes
• Complete job documentation, reports, and required project records accurately
• Collaborate with supervisors, project teams, and other trades to support successful project execution
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment

Qualifications / Requirements

• Must be an indentured and certified Electrical Journeyman

• Construction and maintenance electrical experience required

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team

• Reliable and dependable with strong attendance and punctuality

• Excellent communication skills

• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety

• Valid safety certifications required:

• CSO

• Standard First Aid

• TDG

• WHMIS

• ESC Fall Protection

• H2S Alive

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License required

• Must be authorized to work in Canada

• Must be local to Whitecourt or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate
