Journeyman Electrician

Rover 1 Services, LLC is an electrical installation company that offers a variety of electrical services for the Oil & Gas, Utility, and General Business industries. Rover 1 Services is insured and holds electrical licenses in the states of Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

We are currently hiring for the position of Journeyman Electrician to work in the Oil Fields of West Texas, office located in Odessa, Texas. This is a rewarding opportunity for self-motivated individual who can perform with minimal supervision. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining and troubleshooting overhead and underground electric facilities per customer request and accepted customer specifications to include working in a safe and professional manner.

Job Requirements for Journeyman Lineman:

Valid CDL (or the ability to obtain) for the State of Texas

TDLR Journeyman License – (preferred)

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Successfully pass drug screen testing

Ability to travel and work in various locations including out of state if necessary

Essential Functions for Journeyman Electrician:

Work safely in a Team Environment

Operate Overhead/Underground Electrical Equipment, e.g., Bucket Truck, Boom Truck, excavator, Hi-pot

Ability to perform rigorous physical labor in all types of weather, hot/cold

Capable of working at heights

Maintain Company Vehicles, equipment and tools per Company Standards

Understands grounding procedures

Proper knowledge of required PPE, inspection, care and use

Trained and knowledgeable in the install and construction of Overhead/Underground electrical distribution with Journeyman experience

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes for Journeyman Electrician:

Effective communication skills

General knowledge of basic computer skills

Work effectively in a Team Environment

Show initiative in daily activities

Effective problem-solving skills

Journeyman Lineman experience
