Whatcha Got Services is hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our growing electrical team in Breckenridge, Texas.

We are looking for a licensed electrician with strong residential, commercial, and service experience who can work independently, troubleshoot electrical issues, complete installations correctly, and help lead work in the field.

Compensation

Starting Pay: $24–$29 per hour

Starting pay will be based on:

• Years of electrical experience
• Commercial and industrial experience
• Residential service and troubleshooting ability
• Conduit and raceway experience
• Knowledge of three-phase systems
• Ability to read plans and electrical drawings
• Leadership experience
• Ability to work independently
• Overall demonstrated field skills

Candidates with extensive commercial or industrial experience, strong leadership skills, or the ability to manage larger projects and crews may be considered toward the higher end of the range.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and service work
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems
• Install and service panels, breakers, disconnects, transformers, and electrical equipment
• Install and bend EMT, rigid conduit, and other raceway systems
• Pull, terminate, and identify conductors
• Work with branch circuits, feeders, services, and three-phase systems
• Read blueprints, electrical plans, schematics, and specifications
• Complete electrical service upgrades and remodel work
• Install lighting, receptacles, switches, controls, and equipment circuits
• Ensure work meets NEC requirements and company quality standards
• Assist with job planning, material needs, and project coordination
• Help guide and supervise apprentices and electrical helpers
• Maintain safe, clean, and professional job sites
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other trades

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License
• Valid driver's license
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation methods
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems independently
• Ability to read electrical plans and blueprints
• Experience using electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and code requirements
• Dependable attendance and professional work habits

Preferred:

• Commercial and industrial electrical experience
• Residential service experience
• Experience with three-phase power systems
• Experience with panels, transformers, disconnects, and service equipment
• Conduit bending and raceway installation experience
• Experience leading apprentices or small crews
• Strong customer-service and communication skills

Service Area

This position is based in Breckenridge, Texas, with work throughout Breckenridge and surrounding communities including Graham, Albany, Eastland, Cisco, Ranger, Possum Kingdom Lake, Palo Pinto, Mineral Wells, and nearby areas.

Travel between project and service locations will be required.

Schedule

Full-Time

Work schedules may vary depending on service calls, project schedules, and customer needs. Some longer workdays may be required when projects or emergency service needs call for them.
