Duties

• Perform comprehensive inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on various machinery, vehicles, and equipment using mechanical knowledge and schematics.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Read and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals to identify issues and execute repairs effectively.
• Conduct heavy lifting as needed to move parts or equipment safely during maintenance procedures.
• Assemble new components or machinery following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize work orders, ensure safety compliance, and uphold quality standards.

Skills

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Dealership experience is highly desirable for familiarity with vehicle systems and repair procedures.
• Proficiency in welding techniques to perform metal repairs or fabrication tasks.
• Mechanical knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and hydraulic components.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and assembly instructions effectively.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely while adhering to proper ergonomic practices.
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when necessary.
• Experience reading technical schematics and diagrams for accurate troubleshooting and repair planning.
