Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber, where your expertise will shine in a variety of plumbing projects! Some light residential work as well at times. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. Your skills will be put to the test as you tackle challenges head-on, ensuring that every job is completed with precision and excellence. What you’ll do

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems according to local codes and regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation requirements.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
• Perform pipe threading and welding as needed for system installations.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide field service support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist in remodeling projects by integrating plumbing solutions into new designs.

Basic qualifications

• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics related to plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with commercial and new construction systems is a plus!
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with carpentry and maintenance person tasks that complement plumbing work.
• Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is advantageous for transportation of materials.
