Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately install and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial and residential settings.
• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment in both commerical and residential settings.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical tasks efficiently and safely.
• Troubleshoot and inspect fire alarm systems
• Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals, then implement effective solutions promptly.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures before they occur.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high safety standards.

Requirements

• Valid journeyman electrician license or certification demonstrating completion of an approved apprenticeship program.
• Proven commercial and residential electrical experience with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction sites involving renovation projects.
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems
• Familiarity with electrical experience related to renovation projects or building upgrades.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
• Additional handyman experience or general construction background is a plus for versatile project support.

Pay: $87,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
