Journeyman/Apprentice Gasfitter

Job Overview

Star Plumbing Inc. is seeking a motivated and reliable Journeyman Gasfitter or Apprentice (4th Year) to join our growing team. This role focuses on both single and multi-family residential new construction projects.

Applicants should bring strong, hands-on experience, and a good work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and assemble residential rough-in gas piping systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools
• Work collaboratively with other trades (carpenters, HVAC, etc.) to meet project timelines
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site

Qualifications & Requirements

• Journeyman certification (for journeyman applicants) or active apprenticeship registration
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of gas systems
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic measurements and calculations
• Experience using tools and equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Physically capable of handling the demands of the trade
