Jr. Accountant

Nova Asset Management, is growing and looking to add an additional team member to their exciting team!

We are looking for a Jr. Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing invoices, reconciliation, and other duties for our company.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and process journal entries

• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations in a timely manner
• Provide assistance of other team members to support the Accounting department
• Accounts Payable; includes processing invoices, working with branches to ensure proper posting, and vendor maintenance
• Accounts Receivable; including posting of invoices, working with branch admins to ensure proper billing, and collections on overdue accounts
• Filing, scanning, and records retention
• Assist with monthly and year end close procedures as required
• Assist with preparation of annual audit packages as required
• Assist with special projects as required
• Must have knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Desktop

Requirements:

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational and analytical skills

Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting is a plus

Experience: minimum two years experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,125.99 - $50,000.00 per year
