Jr. Accountant

About the role

This role ensures timely and accurate submission of financial reports, schedules, and supporting documents. You will manage financial compliance, billing accuracy, cost monitoring, tax requirements, fixed assets, payroll processing, and maintain comprehensive financial records and documentation for audit purposes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensures timely and accurate submission of Financial Reports Schedule, Sub-schedule and relevant schedules, reports, and supporting documents
• Complies with various statutory requirements and deadlines for monthly, quarterly, and yearly submissions
• Checks accuracy of billings to clients, billings from suppliers and principals, contractor pricing, and inter-company charges
• Assists in prompt, accurate, and timely collection of receivables and advances
• Focuses on cost monitoring and analysis including variance analysis
• Complies with various tax requirements and deadlines, including remittance schedules for SSS, HDMF, PHIC
• Monitors fixed assets, tools, inventory reports and verifies physical counts
• Maintains proper documentation, work papers, files and financial records to establish audit trail for internal and external auditors
• Monitors office maintenance cost, power consumption and staff-house power consumption
• Maintains Employee's Earning Records

About you

• Graduate of BS Accountancy
• Preferably with 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to manage efficient bookkeeping and cash management function
• Ability to maintain neatness of work so that working papers are presented in clean manner
• Ability to pre-audit and implement efficient filing, compilation, and segregation of official accountable forms and supporting documents
• Ability to process information through computer and logbook register
• Ability to adjust priorities and meet deadlines to obtain efficiency at all times
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner and listen attentively to superiors
