Jr. Engineer - Civil

WE ARE HIRING | JUNIOR ENGINEER – CIVIL

Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd (JKSB) is looking for a motivated and passionate Junior Engineer – Civil to join our team and contribute to the operation, maintenance and management of the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Bridge (Penang Second Bridge).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection, maintenance and monitoring of civil and structural assets.
• Support engineering works related to bridge, highway and infrastructure maintenance.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, drawings, documentation and engineering records.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and relevant stakeholders on site activities.
• Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with approved specifications, safety requirements and quality standards.
• Perform site inspections and provide technical support to the engineering team.
• Undertake other duties and engineering assignments as assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with relevant experience in bridge, highway, structural or infrastructure maintenance will have an added advantage.
• Good understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to travel and perform site-based duties when required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software is an advantage.
