Jr. Engineer Production

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure achievement of production output targets for each shift.
• Monitor Injection Moulding / Plastic Moulding operations and process parameters.
• Ensure product quality as per required specifications.
• Identify and support resolution of process and machine-related issues.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis for production and quality problems.
• Reduce scrap, rejection and material wastage.
• Monitor machine availability and minimize production downtime.
• Manage and coordinate shop-floor manpower/operators.
• Ensure proper completion and maintenance of BMR and production documentation.
• Follow GDP and cGMP requirements.
• Maintain 5S and safety standards on the shop floor.
• Support continuous improvement activities for productivity and quality.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in plastic molding operations.
• Hands-on experience in Injection Moulding (IM).
• Basic knowledge of Injection Blow Moulding (IBM) is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plastic materials, molding and processing.
• Basic machine/process troubleshooting knowledge.
• Knowledge of production, quality, scrap reduction and manpower management.
• Good communication skills in English and Kannada.
• Flexible and quick learner with a result-oriented approach.
• Willingness to work in all 3 shifts
