Jr ESG Sustainability (Account Background)

About the role

To support the company's sustainability and ESG agenda with a strong focus on responsible plastics, circular economy and regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, industry standards and global sustainability best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of the company's sustainability and ESG roadmap with emphasis on sustainable packaging, recycled content and circular economy initiatives
• Assist in coordinating ESG governance, internal reporting and management updates
• Monitor developments in packaging related regulations and standards including PPWR, EPR, plastic taxes and eco design requirements
• Coordinate sustainability reporting in line with Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting Guide, GRI Standards and customer ESG requirements
• Support ESG assessments and ratings such as FTSE4Good, EcoVadis and customer supplier scorecards
• Manage ESG data collection across manufacturing sites ensuring accuracy and audit readiness
• Support initiatives on recycled content integration, mass balance approaches and traceability such as ISCC PLUS, EN15343 and GRS
• Assist in projects on waste reduction, scrap optimisation, packaging lightweighting and reusable transport packaging
• Support carbon footprinting and life cycle thinking for packaging products in line with the GHG Protocol
• Coordinate sustainability related certifications including ISCC PLUS, GRS, Recyclass, EN15343 and local eco labelling schemes

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related disciplines
• Professional certification in sustainability is an advantage such as GRI Professional Certification or GHG Accounting courses
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
