Jr. ETL Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer / Data Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable data integration solutions across enterprise data platforms. This role is responsible for building and optimizing ETL pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources, and delivering reliable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Python and/or Java, REST API integrations, SQL development, and modern cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake and Oracle. Working within a collaborative environment, this individual will contribute to the design, automation, deployment, and ongoing support of enterprise data engineering initiatives while ensuring data quality, performance, security, and compliance standards are met.

Key Requirements

• 4+ years of ETL/Data Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines for structured and unstructured data sources.
• Hands-on experience with REST API integrations and data ingestion frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with Snowflake, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar enterprise databases.
• Knowledge of batch and real-time data processing architectures.
• Experience troubleshooting production data pipeline issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake-based data platforms and cloud data warehousing solutions.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
• Experience developing reusable frameworks and automated data processing solutions.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices supporting data engineering workflows.
• Experience supporting enterprise analytics, business intelligence, and reporting initiatives.
